Something that got me thinking ever sense I saw that PokePark Wii video of Pikachu fighting Charizard. What if there were more Pokemon games of different Genres other then just an RPG?

Well, from what I've seen so far of PokePark, an Action Adventure Pokemon game can be pulled off quite well. I would have perfurred if there was a game like that were you could switch to different Pokemon for the battling part though, and not just Pikachu. *Would have loved being able to fight Charizard with a Riolu*

There has already been a racing Pokemon game, and although I didn't get to play it I heard it was pretty good...

From what I've seen of Pokemon Scrable, an Action RPG Pokemon game looks kind of fun. Just... Not with that battle style. From what I've seen, it looks kind of repitive to me... Sense I don't have Wi-Fi though, I won't be able to try it out first hand to see though...

Personally, I see an Action RPG Pokemon game taking place in the Mystery Dungeon world and having a Star Ocean type battle style: [link]

You can explor the dungeon as your Pokemon, and when you touch another Pokemon you get pulled into the battle zone with your team, and you can switch the Pokemon you want to control durring the battle. You can perform their standered punch/scratch attack, and use button combination to active their special moves. (Like, say your a Lucario. All you have to do to use Aura Sphere is to press the special button and the control pad in the derection of the enemy to fire.) Once you beat the enemy/boss, there's a slight chance that they might join your team like in the regular PMD games.

Now, if Pokemon was a classic JRPG... I dought people would like it. In classics you're only limited to like five to ten characters. With the large range of Pokemon to catch, I dought people would be happy if Nintendo did this... But it could still work.

There could be ten Pokemon teammates, but only five can be in a battle at a time. The battles would be kind of like Blue Dragon in gameplay: [link]

The Pokemon would be out on the field. Touch them and you'll be pulled into the battle. In the battle, the Pokemon with the highest speed state gets to have more turns, and you can see which Pokemon is about to take it's turn in the upper part of the screen. You can either choose to use the Pokemon's standered attack, or you could use one of their special moves or an item. When it comes to special moves, you can either choose the Pokemon to use it right then and there, or you can choose to charge it up. It takes longer, but the attack does more damage once their turn is up again. You can also equip items to them, but unlike most Pokemon games, you can equip more then one item to each Pokemon.

Well, that's just my insight on how Pokemon games should be handled if they were of any of these Genres. Personally, I'd like to see Nintendo pull one of these off just to see how it would actually play, but I dought it will happen.
